Sense of Freedom

There is an article today that MM Lee was trying to speak up against the view that there was limited freedom in Singapore. He says that if Singapore is not free, then why do so many foreigners want to come here to work?

I can only question silently in my heart that sense of freedom as the word ' sense' suggests, is intangible. It cannot be totally measured by laws, statistics and numbers. It is when you are able to stand on your own land and being able to shout out loud without any inhibitions ' You are free!' only then will you realise whether you are free.
