Bleeding gums

I have always had weak gums. Always bleeding for no apparent reason. Then was it Colgate or Oral B that introduced those toothbrushes with the rubber tips that brushes against your gums as your brush your teeth. I bought one to start with and the bleeding stopped almost immediately after. They say that the rubber tips are supposed to simulate the gums. A classic example of how design improvement aids in improving your health!
