Where you study

I really feel uneasy whenever people ask me what school I come from. Somehow in Singapore people have a tendency to judge your capability and intelligence by the school you come from. Is that so important??? And the impression that people have is somewhat exaggerated, based on the school's reputation and what they hear. There is an over emphasis on education because one of Singapore's advantage is its sound education system. Parents are willing to do anything just to get their children in the best schools.....
