Food Review: Rye Bread
I had rye bread a few years ago in Bintan(of all places) and I fell in love with it. This maybe common in the Western countries but not here. It is darker, denser, richer and goes well with meats. You can eat it on its own dipped in vinegar and olive oil. The shape of the loaf has a romantic connotation to me, as it brings to mind the bread that Jesus used to eat during his time. Break it with your hands and wash it down with a sip of red wine.
Thats the way to do it!
